Maria D. Burgos serves as the Supervisor of Global Learning and Culturally Responsive Instruction for Prince William County Public Schools and provides professional development and consulting in the areas of school climate, culture proficiency, culturally responsive instruction, student leadership, organizational and curriculum development. With over twenty years in K-12 public education, Maria attributes her passion for collaborating with schools and community organizations to her experiences as an AfroCaribbean English language learner, the love of teaching/learning, experiences with working and living in diverse learning environments, and parenting four healthy AfroLatino children.
